Glad Rags Thrift is a not for profit cooperative that operates as a second hand thrift store – selling quality and bespoke clothing, shoes and accessories.
The aims and ethos of Glad Rags focus on the up-cycling of kindly donated pieces that would otherwise be destined for landfill whilst also providing great quality high street and designer clothing. Glad Rags also provide volunteering and training opportunities across all ages.
All profits are invested into supporting Glad Rags sister enterprise, The Glad Cafe, and ultimately, The Glad Foundation – a charitable body set up to provide affordable and free music lessons and workshops for youngsters in Glasgow’s Southside.
We pride ourselves at Glad Rags on being forward thinking and embracing individuality with fashion, whilst staying true to our social aims.
